About Credit Oman SAOC

Credit Oman SAOC was founded in 1991, under the name of Export Guarantee Financing Unit (EGFU). Since its inception, Credit Oman has played a pivotal role in facilitating domestic and export trade and contributing to Oman’s economic development.

As the leading credit insurer of Oman, registered as an independent legal entity and fully owned by the government, Credit Oman is in a unique position to support the growth of Omani non-oil exports, and to create a more developed, robust and diversified economy.

With a growing portfolio of clients, the range of products and services that cater to various stakeholder groups has expanded to include trade credit insurance policies for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and corporates, as well as bank products.

Credit Oman is also backed by an A-rated global reinsurance panel, with a solid international network.
