TFD Initiative has announced it will hold its inaugural Trade Finance Investor Day on 19-20 October at The Grove Hotel in Hertfordshire.

The TFD Initiative represents a dynamic community of industry stakeholders dedicated to establishing trade finance as a compelling investment class. Its influence and community has continued to grow since its inception in 2019.

TFG is happy to partner with the TFD Initiative to put on the inaugural Investor Day, which will highlight the milestones achieved by eminent industry forerunners, including Santander Asset Management, Legal and General Investment Management (LGIM), Teybridge Capital, Skybound Capital, Vabble, Deutsche Bank, Mercore, and Trade Finance Global, among others.

The event will highlight some new and important actors in the trade finance sector: alternative lenders and asset managers.

Salman Khan Galindo, Senior Portfolio manager at Santander Alternative Investments who will be speaking on the day recently shared his perspective said, “Face-to-face events are extremely productive, and joining industry practitioners and investors under the same roof in an event of such magnitude sends a powerful message to the industry that this asset class is here to stay.”. Get more from Salman on the pre-event podcast.

ITFA Chair Sean Edwards will also be speaking on the day presenting the ITFA roadmap for institutional investors whilst ICC UK’s Secretary General Chris Southworth will expand on further policy developments of importance to alternative lenders and asset managers.

We invite you to consult the Investor Day website for more information on speakers, venue and registration. TFG is happy to announce that we have secured a few discounted tickets for their members.
