Vipin Bharathan helped build an open source CBDC called eThaler in Hyperledger labs. eThaler followed the ERC 1155 token standard and was built using the Token Taxonomy Framework. eThaler code was later re-purposed to build a carbon token. eThaler and an accompanying whitepaper was also demonstrated to the IMF, the World Bank, the BOE, the DCGI, IBM and other globally significant entities.
