Built on the ISO 20022 framework, Oracle’s solution enables seamless integration with Swift and supports both new and legacy payment formats.
At the 2025 Sibos conference in Frankfurt, Germany, Oracle announced its Oracle Banking Payments, a subscription-based digital payments solution, has been validated as a Swift Compatible Application.
This confirms the software meets Swift’s interoperability, security, and regulatory compliance requirements and certifies the software’s capability to integrate seamlessly into the Swift system. The Swift Compatible certification is often a requirement for banks looking for a financial services provider; the certification is only given if applications meet a range of technical and customer satisfaction requirements and must be renewed each year.
The Swift certification further strengthens Oracle’s position as a global software provider, with institutions now able to benefit from Oracle Banking Payments’ AI-enabled payments processing as well as Swift’s universal network.
Oracle Banking payments is built natively on the ISO 20022 framework, and enables users to meet Swift deadlines – such as the ISO 20022 standards, set to go live in November – while incorporating legacy formats.
”Continually delivering Swift-validated applications reflects Oracle’s deep commitment to providing secure, standards-based solutions that empower financial institutions to meet the demands of a fast-evolving payments ecosystem,” said Sonny Singh, Executive Vice President of Oracle Financial Services.
